The different facets of DPMinistries
DPMinistries has a variety of facets which makes it approachable for people from all walks of life. Here you will find different creative services, books, encouragement and answers to questions in the form of sermons, bible verses accompanied with an interpretation. But the most important thing you will find is what Jesus Christ is all about and how Christianity is not a religion.
Through the years I had the time and privilege to allow the Lord to work on my past and my character and in this way allowing Him to restore and mold me into
the person that He meant for me to be. The process has been long and intense. There were moments when I was gently forced to give in to His love so that He could change
me and let His gifts and talents be expressed through me in an excellent and beautiful way.
Cards and invitations
In 2016 I discovered one of my first talents.
I found out the ability to create cards and invitations for any occasion.
The products are all handmade and personalized.
What I mean by this is, that in every aspect the client is the one
determining the colors, materials, size and everything else
pertaining to the product. With me everything is negotiable.
My goal is to deliver an end result as close as possible
to one's desires, without compromising my own values
and being realistic about my abilities. I do not make empty promises,
and if I am not able to deliver what I am asked for, I am honest about it.

Scrap booking
This has always been a lot of fun to me. Let me first explain
what scrap booking is. This is a method of preserving, presenting
and arranging personal, family, work or any other history
in the form of a book, box or a card. I am able to capture
someone's memories on a small piece of paper
as well as on a piece of wood or a gigantic canvas or any other material.
The end result comes in all kinds of shapes and forms.
With other words the materials I use can vary according to one's wishes.
Jewelry
In 2017 another talent came on the rising. While experimenting
with beads and old jewelry nobody wanted, I took a dive
into a whole new different aspect of my creativity.
Just as in making cards, invitations and in scrap booking, I try to personalize
every piece of jewelry as much as I can. I can make a completely
new product or use an old one and transform it into something trendy.
The last one usually has to do with a deep-rooted emotional value
of the client attached to it, and it requires a deeper understanding
and care for his/her needs.
Books
In May 2022 my best friend, Sjoerd Sjoerds, passed on to be with the Lord.
He was the only living soul I considered to be a true family
to me. He was more than a friend, he was my father.
During my time of tremendous grief, the Lord dug up deep into
my soul, and I met a part of myself that I had buried for years.
I remembered when I was a child I loved to write. It was more like poetry.
When I became a Christian in 2010, the talent sprung up again for a while,
but I got too distracted with the day to day life, and did nothing to develop it.
Now this miracle of a talent is becoming an inseparable part of my ministry.
I love writing about Christ and what He had done and still does in my life.
My first book is on its way and will soon be published. I am sure there are many more
to come.
Spiritual encouragement
All Scripture is God-breathed
and is useful for teaching, rebuking,
correcting and training in righteousness,
so that the servant of God may be
thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
This is a section where I regularly post a Biblical verse
with God's own interpretation. The goal is to shed a light
on God's Word, make the things of God easy to understand,
encourage and build up, and sometimes correct
a wrong doctrine so that people can have the right perspective about God,
the world and themselves. This facet of the ministry is most of all
for believers in Christ. But unbelievers can find answers and
guidance as well.
Sermons
The foundation of DPMinistries is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In this section you will find sermons based on the Gospel of justification by faith.
This includes explaining what the Gospel is,
expounding on Jesus' finished work at the cross,
presenting the identity and the inheritance of the believer,
uncovering the true nature of God,
His grace and love, and elaborating on the beauty,
attributes and excellencies of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
In other words, putting Jesus central.
Jesus said about Himself ''I am the bread of life'' John 6:48,
so I gladly invite everyone to table.
